Tushar Ibtekar is currently working at Strativ AB as a Software Engineer I. He graduated from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology(RUET) in late 2023. Previously, he worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Brain Station 23 from November 2021 to November 2022 while he was in his third year of university.
Tushar applied for the role at Strativ AB via LinkedIn and went through the following recruitment phases before accepting the job offer:
Phase 1: HR Screening
The process began with a phone call from HR, which served as the first interaction with the company. During this phase, HR assessed Tushar’s basic qualifications, professional background, and overall suitability for the role.
Phase 2: Technical Assessment
This phase involved a comprehensive technical evaluation, combining various elements such as technical questions, live coding sessions, and real-time programming challenges. It tested Tushar’s theoretical knowledge and practical coding abilities, providing an in-depth understanding of his technical skill set.
Phase 3: Take-Home Project
After clearing the initial technical assessment, Tushar was assigned a take-home project to build a quiz web application with specific requirements. He was given a comfortable time frame of seven days to complete the task, allowing him to demonstrate his development skills at his own pace.
Phase 4: Technical & Behavioral Assessment
The final phase combined analytical problem-solving with a behavioral assessment. In this stage, Tushar was evaluated not only on his ability to solve technical problems but also on his cultural fit within the company and his approach to handling workplace scenarios.
