Tithi Paul is currently working as a Software Engineer (Intern) at Novazure Limited, a UK-based climate-tech consulting firm. She holds a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Barishal and recently completed her MSc in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Sheffield, UK. Her postgraduate studies were fully funded by a national merit-based scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh.
Throughout her academic and professional journey, Tithi has worked on a variety of projects in web development, software testing, and system design. She also has research experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning, which has further honed her analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Tithi came across the opportunity at Novazure through the company’s official job portal, which provided a clear and comprehensive overview of the role and the application process.
A Thoughtful Recruitment Process
The hiring process at Novazure was well-structured and engaging. It began with an introductory call, during which the team took a genuine interest in Tithi’s background, aspirations, and career goals. The conversation was warm and insightful, offering a clear reflection of the company’s culture and values.
Following the call, she received a follow-up email offering two options for a 72-hour take-home challenge. She selected her preferred slot, and on schedule, received the task: a web application designed to address a real-world problem. The challenge pushed her to apply both her technical expertise and time management skills, delivering a functional solution within the tight deadline.
Five days after submitting her solution, Tithi was excited to receive a response from the team — they praised her work and invited her to the final interview round.
A Two-Way Conversation
The final interview centered around Tithi’s problem-solving approach, the challenges she faced during the take-home task, and the logic behind her solution. The conversation also included several behavioral questions, and she appreciated how the interviewers created space for her to ask about the role, team structure, and the company culture. It felt more like a two-way dialogue than a formal evaluation.
By the end of the session, the team inquired about her availability and potential start date. Shortly after, Tithi received her official offer letter.
