Tariful Islam is currently working at Pathao as an Intern in the Engineering department. He has earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. Tariful applied for the role at Pathao through the Pathao AIM Internship Program. He went through the following recruitment phases before accepting the job offer:
Phase 1: Aptitude Test
This was a 30-minute onsite MCQ-based assessment. There were 30 questions covering the topics - basic mathematics, English, and analytical reasoning.
Phase 2: Written Test
This assessment consisted of questions from Tariful’s chosen department which is Engineering. There were 10 questions covering the topics - basic data structures, searching algorithms, SQL, and coding challenges like the ones in LeetCode.
Phase 3: Technical Interview
In this assessment, the interviewers asked questions about the specifics mentioned in Tariful’s resume. They asked about Tariful’s academic projects and the tech stacks he used in those projects. They also asked questions on basic networking and databases.
Phase 4: HR Interview
In this phase, the HR personnel talked about the company culture and the employee benefits they offer.
