Tanvir Taher is currently working as a Software Engineer at SELISE Digital Platforms. He graduated from East West University and has over three years of professional experience working with the .NET and Angular tech stack. Prior to joining SELISE, he contributed to projects at Enosis Solutions and All Generation Tech.
He applied for the role at SELISE through a job portal, and the recruitment process moved quickly as the company was looking for an immediate hire.
Recruitment Process
Phase 1 - Initial HR Call
The day after applying, Tanvir received a call from HR. The entire conversation was conducted in English, which reflected the company’s preference for strong communication skills.
Phase 2 - Full-Stack Development Task
Tanvir was invited onsite for a six-hour coding challenge where he was asked to build a full-stack website based on a requirement list provided by SELISE. Two managers observed his progress and evaluated him on design choices, coding practices, and overall structure.
Phase 3 - HR Follow-up
Two days later, HR reached out again to discuss Tanvir’s work experience and availability. This call also served as another assessment of his English communication skills, given the likelihood of client interactions.
Phase 4 - Technical Interview
In the final stage, Tanvir faced a fully theoretical round covering topics such as JavaScript, Angular, .NET, OOP, SOLID principles, databases, and system design, along with discussions about his prior experiences. He was able to answer almost 90% of the questions confidently.
Two weeks later, SELISE confirmed his selection for the position.

- Working on personal projects helps speed up development and improves planning skills.
- For technical interviews, it’s important to build a strong foundation in theoretical concepts—frameworks, databases, OOP, and system design.
- Confidence and clarity during interviews leave a strong impression and should never be underestimated.
