Recruitment Stories - Shah Alam's Experience at BRAC IT Services Limited

Mohammad Shah Alam is currently working as an SQ Engineer at BRAC IT Services Limited. He completed his undergraduate studies in CSE from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology in 2022. To further expand his expertise, Shah Alam pursued a Master’s in CSE at Jahangirnagar University, which he successfully completed in 2024.

Shah Alam discovered the job opportunity through a LinkedIn recruitment post, which immediately piqued his interest. Without hesitation, he submitted his application via the Google Form attached to the post.

The hiring process turned out to be a smooth and engaging experience for Shah Alam. Shortly after applying, he received a call from the HR team, who informed him that his CV had been shortlisted for an interview. The team shared a list of available time slots and kindly considered his preferences, a gesture Shah Alam appreciated greatly.

The interview itself was a well-structured session, focused on assessing his technical and problem-solving skills. Shah Alam was presented with various scenarios and tasked with writing relevant positive and negative test cases. The discussion then delved into fundamental concepts in Java and SQL, followed by questions on API testing and REST APIs. Toward the end, the interviewers inquired about his experience with Selenium and JMeter. The 40-minute session was both professional and friendly, making the process comfortable and engaging.

A few days later, Shah Alam was invited to a non-technical interview. Within a week, the entire hiring process was completed. Shah Alam was overjoyed to receive the confirmation of his selection as an SQ Engineer at BRAC IT Services Limited.
