Rifat Ara Nawshin is currently working as a Product Acceptance Analyst at SELISE Digital Platforms. She has completed her undergraduate studies in Computer Science & Engineering from American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).
Rifat got to know about the vacancy at SELISE from a Facebook group. Then, she applied for the role through the company’s website. Afterward, she went through the following recruitment phases before accepting the job offer:
Phase 1
This assessment took place online. Rifat’s task was to test a given website and to prepare a bug report. Additionally, there was a related API question requiring knowledge of Postman.
Phase 2
The interviewer asked Rifat questions about herself and from whatever was mentioned in her resume. Also, the interviewer asked about Rifat’s former job experiences and her goals in life. Then the interviewer asked questions related to manual testing, software testing terminologies, techniques Rifat used during her previous assessment, and so on. The interviewer asked questions on JMeter, Postman, and API testing as well.
Phase 3
This interview was conducted by the CTO at SELISE. Initially, the interviewer asked Rifat to introduce herself. Then, the interviewer asked her about her passion for testing, and about her previous job experiences. Afterward, the interviewer gave a basic brief about the company. The interview concluded with a discussion regarding salary expectations.
