Md Maksud Hossain Pranto is currently working as a Junior QA Engineer at DreamOnline Limited. He has completed his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from East West University. Before joining DreamOnline Limited, Maksud worked at Quantanite as an Analyst.

Maksud got to know about the opportunity at DreamOnline Limited through Bdjobs.com. He then went through the following recruitment phases before accepting the job offer:

Phase 1

This phase was a mix of getting to know Maksud and assessing his QA skills. Initially, the interviewers asked Maksud to share a little about himself, and then they moved on to talk about his goals and experiences for the position. They also asked Maksud if he had tried to obtain any certifications, such as the ISTQB. Afterward, they asked questions on API testing, API testing techniques, Postman, test case writing and some fundamental testing questions.

Phase 2

This phase consisted of an MCQ-based assessment where Maqsud was given an hour to complete. The questions were scenario-based, and on the topics - SQL, logical reasoning and software testing.

Phase 3

This was an HR interview where the HR explained the company’s policies and perks to Maksud. Before scheduling this interview, the HR contacted Maksud to know whether he was willing to join the company.

Special thanks to Md Maksud Hossain Pranto for taking out the time to share his recruitment experience with me. If you have any queries, feel free to contact him at maksudpranto@gmail.com
