Hebron Hossain Hamim is currently working at TallyKhata as a Junior SQA Engineer. He has earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from United International University. Before working at TallyKhata, Hebron held positions at AnnonLab as a Junior Software Engineer and at Programming Hero as a Web Instructor. Hebron got to know about the role at TallyKhata through LinkedIn. He went through the following recruitment phases before accepting the job offer:
Phase 1: Interview with the Team Leads
It was a 1-hour onsite interview conducted by the team lead and the assistant team lead of the SQA department. The initial conversation was about the former job experiences of Hebron. Afterward, they moved to asking questions on software quality assurance, test automation, and databases. The interviewers discussed a few scenario-based problems and asked Hebron for their solutions. Then, they gave Hebron a programming problem to solve.
Phase 2: Interview with the CTO
It was a 1-hour interview conducted online via Google Meet. The interview started with a discussion on one of the projects Hebron mentioned in his resume. Then, the interviewer asked questions on FinTech solutions from an SQA perspective, memory allocation, databases, and more.
One common question that Hebron got asked in both interviews was his motivation behind switching from development to SQA. After completing the interview, Hebron had a short conversation with the HR.
