Cefalo Bangladesh Ltd. was looking to hire recent female graduates, and Asma learned about the opportunity. She sent her resume via email to the relevant contact person and then went through the following recruitment phases before accepting the job offer:

Phase 1: Technical Assessment

This phase took place at the office premises of Cefalo Bangladesh Ltd. Asma was informed in advance that the sole assessment criteria for this phase would be a programming assessment test. As part of her preparation, she utilized the Codeforces platform to practice solving programming problems. The programming assessment test consisted of 5 problems. The first 4 problems could be categorized as level A/B of Codeforces Div 2/3, and the last problem was related to trees and BFS/DFS.

Phase 2: Interview

The Managing Director of Cefalo Bangladesh Ltd conducted this phase. All candidates who underwent the Technical Assessment attended the interview. The purpose of this phase was to evaluate the candidates’ communication skills in English.

During the interview, the interviewer asked Asma general questions about her educational background. They also discussed the company’s salary structure, rules, and regulations.
